Located about 2000 meters above sea level, this spot offers expansive views of the Japanese mountains and even a glimpse of Mount Fuji from the Ogato vantage point. When you&#8217;re done taking in the breathtaking scenery, you can explore the scattered artworks in this tranquil and sparsely populated area.<\/p>\n<p>The Utsukushi-ga-hara Kogen Art Museum features around 400 pieces of art in a permanent exhibition set against a lush natural backdrop. Among the many intriguing installations, you&#8217;ll find legless and headless zebras, highly stylized motorcycles, angels dancing on cylindrical columns, enormous boots, and inverted pyramids.
